Tournament Rules

16 minute halves (stop time).
10 second backcourt, no shot clock.
5 Minute half-time.
3 Minute OT.
There will be a 5 minute warm-up before each game.
The game clock will run during the last five minutes of a game if a team has a twenty point lead.
Play the "release" on foul shots (NCAA rules).
No one & one at 7 fouls. Double bonus at 10 team fouls.
2 full, 2 thirty, to be used at anytime. No carry-over to OT.
1 full time-out per Overtime.
Head coach may call time-out from bench.
Clock will not stop on a made basket in the last minute of play.
Home team supplies game ball.
Home team provides official scorer and book unless waived by the Head Coach.
Official scorer must sit at scorer's table.
Visiting team may also have unofficial scorer and book keeper at scorer's table.
Each team will be responsible for bringing jerseys that are different in color.
All other New York State/NCAA rules apply.
Jewelry rule fully enforced.

Another Successful Tournament

Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2010 Thoroughbred Classic Tournament. Your participation made this year event a huge success. We hope you will be returning next year. This year we hosted over 110 teams from all over the Northeast and we hope that we will see everyone again next June.

We would also like to thank the many parents that volunteered their time to help staff the concession stand and the admission table. You're efforts help our goal of providing a quality experience to our athletes at a reasonable cost.
